Northwoods Wisconsin weddings have a quiet, grounded feel, and Nate and Ellie’s day captured that perfectly. Set at Ellie’s parents’ cabin on Lower Springstead Lake, the entire celebration felt relaxed, personal, and connected to the place. It turned into a full weekend of celebration, filled with boating, exploring, and spending time with the people who matter most.

Nate and Ellie met and built their life together in Iowa before bringing their closest people up to Wisconsin to celebrate. Choosing a location that already meant something to their family made the day feel even more personal. The ceremony was especially unique, with Josh stepping in as both the officiant and photographer, adding another layer of connection to the day. Everything about their wedding felt simple, intentional, and true to who they are.
